Chord-inating my Beginnings // September

Welcome to My Quest!

For the next year I will trying to learn the chords, strings and songs regarding the Guitar. I started by setting up my goals for the year. I determined that I want to blog my learning by uploading videos of my different stages of learning. I believe this is so worthwhile because it allows me to learn something I've wanted to do forever and I'm very excited to finally become proficient at an instrument. I have already bought a guitar and a learning program that assists my learning and if I need help I can always turn to friends (such as Saif who is incredible at the instrument) or teachers like Mr. Kulpa.

There's a huge problem I have with my plan: I may be incredibly lazy to play or have a lack of time. However, by organizing work as well as watching videos on how to become better (and what I could become) I could inspire myself to dedicate an allocated hour or two to practicing the Guitar. I can't wait to get started on this quest and I have already started learning the strings and chords! I plan to learn a new song every month (or at least the basic idea of it anyway) and have a video ready of a full song (maybe with singing?) as my final proof of progress.

Next month my plan is to become proficient at guitar moves I could not do before, such as moving between the frets and also learn at least 5 basic chords and how to move between them. See you next month!
